Happy Birthday To Me!

I won't post any wishes, they might not come true...
Anyway, I wanna eat some cake. I'm really craving now for Red Ribbon's Dulce De Leche...Yum yum yum!

My Third Life

It was just one ordinary Friday afternoon for me. A day that I always look forward to, but not until yesterday (July 11, 2008).

I'm always in a hurry, always taking the shortcut. Afraid that I will miss something good. I've been like this for such a long time.

That afternoon, I immediately went out of the office. Carrying my huge green bag that I always bring everytime I go home (in Batangas). After buying some medicine, I went straight to the station because it's a Friday. As expected, a lot of passengers were already there waiting but luckily I got the seat beside the sliding door which means that I can take a nap while on the road. The van was overloaded but honestly, I didn't care. All I want was to go home.

I was asleep for atleast an hour. I woke up when we reached Tagaytay which I always do to see a glimpse of the sunset while listening to Switchfoot. Haha. That sounds corny. I know but it feels great. As we're getting near, another van from behind went ahead of us. That's when our driver started to speed things up. It's either he has LBM or he felt really bad that we were left behind even if we got off first. I will never forget the part where we're about to bump into the truck! I've never been scared like that in my entire life. Knowing that you can die at that moment. My head was spinning and some blood was dropping from my right hand. After the car crash, I hurriedly went out fearing it will explode. I was the first to get out and thank God, nobody died.

The front part of the van after the accident.

That is where I was seated.

From now on, I will surely take more of my time and ride the bus instead. I don't want to die young. This accident was the second time this year. Check my previous post named "Class O5A Summer Reunion", that was the first. Whew!

Let's get physical

Finally. It's been a while since my last post. I've been busy lately and can't take time to post here. Anyway, I have nothing much to share except for another time consuming activity that I've been doing as of the moment. After realizing that my tummy is getting bigger and bigger each day, I decided to workout again at the gym. This is my second time enrolling. The first time was last year with some friends.

This photo was taken last year. My face all-red riding one of the machines doing a cardio workout. I'm with (from left to right) Jen, Joysie, Marie and MJ. VJ and Ed was absent.

This one was taken the other day. I'm lying down doing some leg press. I am alone this year since most of my friends are busy and we have different schedules right now unlike before.

I'm hoping to see results after a month. Wish me luck!

Behind the mask

If you are watching Naruto, you are probably wondring how Kakashi sensei's face looks like. There was one filler episode where the 3 of them (Naruto, Sasuke & Sakura) planned on checking how his face look's like. Sasuke and Sakura didn't care at first but when Naruto said that he could have huge lips or huge buck teeth, both got interested.
I was laughing really hard when Naruto thought about this.

I thought that the last 2 pictures were real but they were just photoshopped.

Kakashi is one of my fave anime character. I also can't help but get curious what is it with Jiraiya's books that he was so amazed about. Knowing Jiraiya, the books might be having some explicit content. The book already has 3 volumes namely "Make-out Paradise", "Make-out Violence", and "Make-out Tactics".

I've watched the last Naruto movie. It was disappointing. The story was the same with the first ones. Escorting and protectinng someone important and very difficult to deal with then Naruto will change them. Well, it's fine just as long as they make a good job with the series.

Guess who this is?

I came across this guy's forum and saw these pictures. I didn't notice that it was him the first time until I saw the rest of them (top 6 remaining) in AI. The images were taken from last week's Ford Music Video. They're comic heroes singing "Tainted Love" on the vid.

David Cook doing Emo.
This is what fame can do.

The rest of the gang. (Archie didn't change at all)

Yes, that's right. The pics at the top are David Cook's. By the way, this is how he looked like during the first weeks of the competition.
His version of "Always be my baby" is the best. David Cook FTW!

Class O5A Summer Reunion

The day came and they told me that we have to be at the meeting place at 4:30 pm. That day was my off and since we'll meet in the afternoon, I still managed to get a haircut. It was raining hard when I left the house but there was no traffic at all. Here are some of the pictures from the reunion that I downloaded.

Here's how the place looks like.

Rachel and Agnes in their sexiest pose. (FHM or Maxim?)

I have 3 pairs of slippers but I forgot to bring one.

The first thing that we did upon arriving...take pictures.

Where are they looking at? (Topher, Deejay & Ian making fun of Cheda)

Resort Map

My college friends are fond of assembling a get together atleast once or twice a year. They usually take place during summer or just before Christmas. I checked my mail 2 weeks ago and saw this map together with some pics of the place for everyone to see.

Click the image for a larger viewI haven't been using my leaves and I also swapped my off with Aisa so there's no reason for me not to go there.

Mandy...

Sketching was one of my talents back when when I was little.I'd just get a stick and draw at the ground. Obviously, art was one of my fave subjects at school and my work usually ends up being posted at the board. I was on my 3rd grade when they let me compete with other schools and luckily I reached the regional level. The experience was great, it's because I'm exempted to attend classes and practice. I lost during the regional level and didn't get even the third place. The representative of the hosting school won. Anyway, that was just the beginning. I competed many times and became part of the school paper as an editorial cartoonist.

Highschool was not the same. I needed to focus more with the subjects and do well in class since I was in the star section. I was also thinking about taking up "Fine Arts" but my parents discouraged me. They wanted me to take Architecture or Engineering instead. By the way, I really hated Math eversince so just thinking about those courses made me feel nervous. I am very dependent with my parents especially to my mom, even now I can say that I still am. So, I took up Computer Engineering which they say was in-demand that time. I lived in a dorm for five years since my college is far away from home. I really didn't expect I'd finish engineering but I did. Studying kept me away from this hobby and I feel that the skill in me has vanished. "Art Appreciation" was a relief. It was one of our modules during our third year when everyone is going crazy over calculus and other math based subjects. I never imagined myself to be singing and dancing in front of the class but it was fun. This was also the time where we get to choose a medium for expressing our artistic side. Most of them picked photography which is much easier but I decided to do portraiture. I was having a second thought since I haven't sketched for such a long time. I'm more concerned on how it will turn out rather than the grade I would get. I guess I was taking it very seriously so the first thing I did after class was to buy pencils and this is how it turned out...
I ripped off Mandy's photo from a mag and drew intersecting lines over her face (criss cross) so I'd get the exact points. This helps a lot so you'll know where to start. It's not that good but I had it framed because I think this would be the last portrait I'do.

Blogging

Yes, I finally managed to create a blog. I thought that this is too difficult for me but with the help of my seatmates here, I guess it'll be easier.

I'm really not into writing so this is like a challenge for me, and for you too. (Like someone would be interested reading my posts here!). Well, maybe I just want to see my written pieces on the internet. Hehe!. Seriously, it's because someone told me that I can earn through blogs but it would take a year or more, so here I am writing my first post.
